Just Life from London 

Slowly but surely, the London studio is coming to life, and Radio Maria listeners will be becoming more familiar with the dulcet tones of the two Annas, Anna Fleischer and Anna Whitehead, broadcasting from the capital. As more volunteers get involved in London, increasingly guests can hop on the 24 bus up to leafy Camden to get the full radio experience of sitting in a studio with headphones and microphones and flashing lights galore. Part of this expansion will be the new Just Life slot at 10am on Fridays, from London each week, a regular opportunity for us to get the fascinating characters that haunt the metropolis’s chapels, shrines and cathedrals on air.  

The first of these will be with the seasoned writer, speaker and guide of her famous Catholic London tours, Joanna Bogle, on the release of her new Catholic handbook for children entering secondary school, co-authored by Kyra Audley-Charles. This beautifully produced book, published by CTS, is replete with commonly asked questions, the lives of saints, prayers, reflections on science and faith, gorgeous illustrations and more. Tune in for what is bound to be a fascinating programme and do call in with your questions! The programme will also be rebroadcast at 10pm and available as a podcast.
