Mornings with Radio Maria – Caritas Westminster
On Wednesday, March 15th, Sr Silvana Dallanegra RSCJ spoke to listeners about Caritas Westminster and their Warm Spaces intiative.
Sr Silvana Dallanegra RSCJ is a member of the Society of the Sacred Heart, an international order whose mission is to discover and make known the limitless love of the Heart of Jesus. Since 2017 she has worked for Caritas Westminster, the social action agency of the Diocese of Westminster. She supports parishes and schools in West London in their social action, and is also the Caritas lead for their Catholic Social Teaching programmes, and for Financial Resilience. In this role, in autumn 2022 she began to coordinate Caritas’ support for the warm spaces being set up by parishes and projects across the Diocese as a practical response to the cost of living crisis.
Silvana likes to observe and reflect on God and daily life through photography and her blog, All this life and heaven too. Her family origins lie in Italy, which is where she first heard of Radio Maria – she’s sure her Nonna Rosa has been dancing in heaven to hear her granddaughter being interviewed on her favourite station!
