New Programme: “Faith in word and song” with Ollie Clarke
Broadcast on Sundays at 8pm and again on Thursdays at 5pm.
Ollie has been a radio presenter most of his life since the early 80’s working with commercial radio across Ireland. In 2009 Ollie retired from Commercial radio and in 2011 started working with a Christian station “Spirit Radio” and he now works with Radio Maria since 2019, but it was in 1994 Our Lady played a major roll in Ollie’s conversion bringing Ollie back to his Catholic faith. In the years since 1994 Our Holy Mother has deepened Ollie’s faith in God’s word and the gifts from the Holy Spirit. “Our Lady shows the best way to Jesus (her son) in a very motherly way. Her gentleness and love for us is immeasurable and is in one with her son Jesus. That’s why we must never fail to pray the rosary each day” Ollie remarks.
“Faith in word and song” with Ollie Clarke will be an hour long reflection on Sunday’s scripture readings with contemporary music to accompany the reflections.
