“Drawing on the wealth of the Church’s living tradition, Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC, calls on all of us to turn to St. Joseph, entrust ourselves, our Church, and our world to our spiritual father’s loving care, and then watch for wonders when the Universal Patron of the Church opens the floodgates of Heaven to pour out graces into our lives today.
Definitely a book for our time, Consecration to St. Joseph is dedicated to meeting the challenges of the present moment and restoring order to our Church and our world, all through the potent paternal intercession and care of St. Joseph. This book has everything you need to take your love and devotion to St. Joseph to a whole different level: the first comprehensive 33-day program of consecration to St. Joseph; information on the 10 wonders of St. Joseph; and prayers and devotions to St. Joseph.
Accessible, motivating, this book will kick off a great movement of consecration to our spiritual father and change the world.
Father Donald Calloway, MIC, is the vicar provincial and vocation director for the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy Province of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception, as well as the author of a number of books. His books Champions of the Rosary: The History and Heroes of a Spiritual Weapon, No Turning Back: A Witness to Mercy, and Under the Mantle: Marian Thoughts from a 21st Century Priest are Catholic bestsellers.”

When I was in the British Army many years ago, I conducted ‘Padre’s Hours’ with the recruits. These were rarely an hour, but they did provide an opportunity for me to teach and to dialogue with the soldiers about ethical, social, and religious issues. For the soldiers it provided a welcome break from their duties and training – an opportunity, not only to relax, but also to think about the world and even Faith. Our world has changed so much since then. My wife, Mirjam, and I entered the Church as converts in 2014 but for every individual who comes into the Church there are ten who leave. We are in a missionary context and Padre’s Hour is a weekly broadcast in which I explore issues of Faith and life with experts and enthusiasts. It is an opportunity for me to say that Faith does matter, and that the living Christ is speaking today if we just make time to listen. Padre’s Hour is conversational and variable and I hope, not only that you will like it, but that you will join in – why not send me topics that you would like me to discuss and people you would like me to meet?
Get in touch by contacting me with “Padre’s Hour” in the subject line.
God Bless,
Father Sam Randall
