This programme shares Christine’s discussions with Aunty Christiane, 82 years old poet, born in a small village called Bury in Belgium and now living in London. She enjoys writing poems and she likes sharing them with people.  Christine is our narrator who shares personal experiences with Aunty Christiane as she has known her for many, many years. Aunty Christiane is a dear and most treasured family friend to Christine. Christine is always delighted, encouraged and inspired by Aunty Christiane’s freedom of heart and joyful spirit. She finds it a privilege to share her poems and songs with you.

My name is Christiane. I am 82 years old. I was born in a small village called Bury in Belgium and I live in London. I enjoy writing poems and I like sharing them with people.

Christine knows Aunty Christiane as a dear and most treasured family friend. Christine is always delighted, encouraged and inspired by Aunty Christiane’s freedom of heart and joyful spirit. It is a privilege to share her poems and songs with the Radio Maria England community.
