Songs in the Wilderness Guest – Ciaran Losasso – Ignite East Anglia

This week, Diane Redmond welcomes Ciaran Losasso as guest on Songs in the Wilderness. Radio Maria England is very excited to share his story and musical choices with our community.  Along with his work for Ignite East Anglia, Ciaran has helped as a volunteer for Radio Maria England’s Family Committee, guidingni Radio Maria England with developing content you young people and families.

Ciaran Losasso is the Ignite Youth Mission Team Leader for the Diocese of East Anglia. Ciaran grew up in Norwich in a Catholic family and found that his faith deepened significantly as a teenager, a process he describes as “falling ever deeper in love with the Lord and with His Church”. While studying at university, he experienced a growing desire to share his faith with other people and became part of the Diocese of East Anglia’s Ignite Lite group which acted as a stepping stone to joining the full-time Ignite Team after graduation. The Ignite Team aims to share the Gospel with children and young people through the running of events, retreats and other activities in parishes and schools across East Anglia as well as through online media. Ciaran has served on the team for over three years, a role he sums up as “getting to share the best message on earth and somehow getting away with doing it as a full-time job”. He currently presents Ignite’s monthly First Fridays show on YouTube which features interviews and music from Christian guests.
