The Virtues (Theological and Cardinal)

Sr Hyacinthe Defos du Rau OP joins us on Wednesday 16^th November at 4pm, and after that every third Wednesday for five more months, for a catechetical series on the virtues! Sr Hyacinthe will teach us about all seven virtues – the theological virtues of faith, hope and love and the cardinal virtues of fortitude, justice, prudence and temperance.

Last month we learnt about ‘Our Lady and the Virtue of Faith’ and this month Sr Hyacinthe will speak on ‘Abraham and the Virtue of Hope’.

Sr Hyacinthe is a Dominican Sister from the congregation of the Dominican Sisters of St Joseph based in the New Forest, near Southampton. She is originally from France and came over to England to join the sisters in 2000. Her main work is to train catechists and offer faith formation for adults, as part of the Dominican sisters’ new apostolate: ‘Light of Truth’ www.lightoftruth.uk
