Volunteer Spotlight: Alfie Peck
Hi my name is Alfie Peck, I am a volunteer at Radio Maria England, I started volunteering over a year ago as a presenter on a show called Radio Maria England Youth, Faith Vibe!! RMEY for short. I help present a show for young people with my friends Maryam, Ashish and Danny. The aim of the show is to spread the Gospel and bring it a live for young people. Each week I present an hour long show live with my co presenters , we enjoy playing popular music from all genres. Sharing the Gospel is our main focus but we have Fabulous Facts, shoutouts, prayer time and so much more.
Presenting this show brings joy to my week and I really hope the listeners enjoy its too because that’s why we do it .. for our listeners! However, it’s not the only show I have been involved in, I spend time in the studio working with the Science and Faith team. I help record and edit this show. And I have been really lucky to go live during the Summer holidays presenting SummerTime Afternoon with Alfie playing great songs and shout outs for the listeners. I have had the chance to help categorise all the music in the Radio Maria England systems and so much more!
