Where shall I spend Easter this year?

This Easter, there will not be much choice, of where to celebrate Easter. In fact, it will be somewhere between your living room, home office or, if you’re fortunate enough, your garden.

In this very unusual time of Coronavirus and complete lockdown, we Christians are especially challenged to find new ways how to celebrate our faith. This is also a chance to find Jesus in the silent corner of our heart, to really dig deep into what it means to love God and to pray with an honest attitude.

Luckily, with all this technology nowadays, we are able to hear and watch live Masses and services from all over the world. We can join prayer groups online, “visit” daily Mass and connect with other believers from around the globe. At some point, the possibilities may even seem overwhelming.

Apart from all the online offers, there is the good old radio. In the past, radio broadcast has already served humanity as a companion in difficult times, such as during World War II. Radio Maria will broadcast live Mass during the Holy Week and on Easter, so please do tune-in.
