Episode 1: Periods

Yes, we’re talking about those kind of periods!  The monthly menstrual cycle.  Don’t recoil, because periods can tell us quite a lot about our health, as revealed by our wonderful dietician Dalia Maori .  If you’re suffering from a whole host of unsavoury period symptoms, then there may be changes to your diet and lifestyle that can have a profound effect on your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.  Listen on!

For the first show back, dietician Dalia Maori is the guest and she shares the importance of women taking care of themselves, looking at managing pain in a holistic way and she even shares tips on menstruation!  She is a highly qualified and experienced dietitian who approaches each client holistically. She treats the whole person: her top priority is always her patient’s long-term health – both mental and physical. Acute complaints receive treatment while she simultaneously holds her clinical focus on long term health. Her work as a dietitian is not simply a day job, but a deep and meaningful personal pursuit. She has been in private practice for twelve years and her enthusiasm for helping people feel better does not wane: when our health is optimised, our full potential can be reached. She believes it is every person’s right to live with the best health possible for them. She is determined, daily, to do her very best to help make that happen using nutrition and lifestyle medicine.  For more information or how to get in touch with her,  please check out her website at:  www.daliamaorinutrition.com. What a way to kick off the first season!  Listen in on 15 April at 11am!
