Women Together Return for Season 2!

Genevieve, Helena, Gail, Sandy and Janice return with Di Redmond for a new season of Women Together on Radio Maria England!  Once again, we have an exciting series hearing from all sorts of women with all sorts of experiences covering all sorts of subjects from social opportunities for people with and without learning disabilities, life on the edge, alcoholism, breast cancer and outdoor fitness as well as many others!

Each Thursday, beginning the 15th of April, the women will present, LIVE, from 11am – 12pm, sharing an interview with an expert or with someone that shares their testimony to listeners. Then, the phone lines will be open for the Radio Maria England community to call in and share their experiences or ask their questions! The number to call will be 02037 818 423. Women Together (WT) hopes to empower women to live in the fullness of who they are in Christ. Saint Irenaeus said, ‘The Glory of God is man fully alive’, and Christ Himself said, ‘I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.’ So, let’s face life, as women, with all the trials and tribulations it brings, together!

Episode 1: Periods

Yes, we’re talking about those kind of periods!  The monthly menstrual cycle.  Don’t recoil, because periods can tell us quite a lot about our health, as revealed by our wonderful dietician Dalia Maori .  If you’re suffering from a whole host of unsavoury period symptoms, then there may be changes to your diet and lifestyle that can have a profound effect on your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.  Listen on!
