Stations of the Cross for Families

These prayers are often used as part of Stations of the Cross.

We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you.
Because by your Holy Cross you have redeemed the world.

I love you, Jesus, my love above all things.
I repent with my whole heart of having offended you.
Never permit me to separate myself from you again.
Grant that I may love you always, and then do with me what you will.

Sometimes they are used in a more traditional form.

We adore thee, O Christ, and we bless thee.
Because by thy Holy Cross thou hast redeemed the world.

I love thee, Jesus, my love above all things.
I repent with my whole heart of having offended thee.
Never permit me to separate myself from thee again.
Grant that I may love thee always, and then do with me what thou wilt.
